Welcome back, footy fans! After a well-earned Easter break, we’re ready to rip into Round 3 of the 2025 Cronulla Junior Rugby League season. And what better time to return than Anzac Day weekend, a time to reflect, remember, and celebrate the spirit of our community.

🎖️ Anzac Spirit on Display

As clubs take to the field this Saturday, many will observe Anzac commemorations with pre-game tributes—a tradition that runs deep in our rugby league community. Special shoutout to the Gymea Gorillas, who continue their amazing partnership with the Cronulla Sutherland Veterans Association, raising funds and awareness through their commemorative jerseys. This is what community is all about. Lest We Forget.

🐾 Bosco Tops the Ladder After Local Derby Win

In Round 2, the Bosco Bulldogs came out firing in the local derby against the Engadine Dragons, claiming a dominant 34–12 win in front of a bumper crowd at Anzac Oval. That result sees Bosco sitting atop the Power Waste Management Cup ladder heading into a blockbuster clash this Saturday with reigning premiers, the Joeys—who will be hungry to bounce back after falling to a red-hot Gymea Gorillas side.

🏉 Rep Season Wrap-Up – Our Junior Sharks Did Us Proud

Unfortunately, the curtain has come down on the 2025 Sharks Junior Representative season. It was a valiant effort across all squads:

  • Tarsha Gale Sharks (U19 Girls) fell to Parramatta in Week 1

  • SG Ball Sharks (U19 Boys) bowed out against the Bulldogs

  • And last week, our Lisa Fiaola Sharks (U17 Girls) were edged out by the Wests Tigers

🧦 Can You Help the Dragons Help Fiji?

The Engadine Dragons are collecting kids' footy boots (ages 9–12) to support the first-ever U10 Mod League Gala Day in Fiji this June. Boots can be dropped at Bakers Delight Engadine through mid-May. Let’s help these kids feel like stars 🌟
