On what was a dark and rainy afternoon in Sydney the Como Crocodiles faced off against Coogee-Randwick in the Eastern Under 18 Gold division round 4 match at Scylla Bay Oval.
As part of recognising and celebrating indigenous round, their players with indigenous heritage and indigenous Australians in general the Como team proudly wore their commemorative indigenous jerseys.
It was a great of rugby league played in difficult conditions. In the end it would be Como Jannali that prevailed in a tight match 14 points to 6.
The Cronulla JRL proudly recognise the Dharawal people who are the Traditional custodians of the land of Sutherland Shire and are proud supporters of indigenous rugby league and this fitting tribute by Como Jannali JRLFC.
