Competition Dates & Structure for Season 2020
Updated: Jul 29
The Cronulla JRL is pleased to confirm the following competition structures for season 2020.
We have been approved for an extension to the normal winter allocations for local council grounds and I would like to thank all stakeholders, especially the Sutherland Shire Cricket association.
At this stage, all competitive age groups being u9 to 1st Grade (including all Girls Tag League competitions) will be setup the same for maximum rounds of football for all participants.
We will have 10 competition rounds starting on July 18 with no weekends off, meaning the last competition round will be on the weekend of September 19/20th.
We will then go straight to Grand Finals with those teams finishing 1st and 2nd in their respective divisions on the weekend of the September 26/27th.
The U6 to U8 competitions that are non-competitive will play 10 rounds of football and finish on the weekend of September 19/20th.
We have decided this to cancel this years u6/7/8 gala day.
We are looking at and will confirm a date/ location for the Tommy Bishop Shield, as we intend to hold this historic competition.
I look forward to seeing our Junior Rugby League return in a few weeks time.
