This is a super proud moment for the entire Cronulla Junior Rugby League community as we congratulate one of our own very talented junior players who tomorrow makes his NRL Debut for the Canberra Raiders playing full back against the Gold Coast Titans at GIO Stadium.
Chevy played his entire junior career for the Kurnell Stingrays who dominated the competition through the junior grades. Chevy was always destined for greatness having made the Sharks Development programs at an early age before leading the Sharks Harold Matthews Cup squad to the 2022 Grand Final.
In 2023 Chevy signed with the Raiders and quickly moved through the representative ranks from SG Ball to Jersey Flegg and then into the NSW Cup side waiting for his opportunity to enter the big time.
Well that time is come and we wish our local junior, Chevy Stewart all the very best for his debut in the NRL on Sunday. Tune in and cheer on this local hero.
