Cronulla Junior Rugby League Appoints Joshua Elias as Operations Manager

Cronulla Junior Rugby League is pleased to announce the appointment of Joshua Elias as its new Operations Manager, with Josh set to commence in the role on 2 February 2026.
Josh brings extensive experience from his time working with NSW Rugby League, along with a strong understanding of the junior rugby league landscape. His previous positive dealings with Cronulla Junior Rugby League and its member clubs made him an outstanding candidate through a highly competitive recruitment process.
Cronulla JRL Chairman John Mannah said the appointment represents a significant step forward for the organisation.
“Josh’s experience within the NSWRL system and his proven ability to work collaboratively with junior leagues made him a standout candidate. His understanding of the challenges and opportunities within junior rugby league, combined with his professionalism and leadership qualities, has resulted in a fantastic outcome for Cronulla JRL.”
The Chairman said the appointment aligns strongly with the organisation’s long-term vision.
“Our mission is to become the benchmark for Junior Rugby League, and this appointment is a major win for our organisation. With a clear mandate to maintain our growth, strengthen our relationships with clubs and stakeholders, and continue to innovate, we are confident Josh can deliver on that promise for our players, clubs, and members.”
Josh’s role will focus on operational excellence, stakeholder engagement, and supporting the continued growth and development of junior rugby league across the Cronulla region.
