Cronulla Junior Rugby League Gives Local Games a Voice

Following on from the Cronulla Junior Rugby League (CJRL) initiative to expand live stream coverage to all Power Waste Management Cup venues each Saturday, the “match of the round” will now feature match commentary to enhance the experience for followers of CJRL clubs and competitions.

The CJRL welcomes local Rugby League fanatic, Brett James, who will make his calling debut in the round two fixture between Como-Jannalli and Gymea, from Scylla Bay Oval this Saturday. James is currently the host of the 2SSR sports show, “Bumper to Bumper” which airs on Thursday evenings.

“I can’t wait for Saturday to arrive as this is an opportunity to be a part of local sport which I am very passionate about. To be able to be a part of the BarTV live streaming coverage of the Power Waste Management Cup is a real thrill for me”, James said.

CJRL Chairman Nathan Waugh was thrilled to be able to enhance the viewing experience for supporters of local clubs. “Our commitment to expand our live streaming to take in games from all Power Waste Management Cup venues each Saturday via BarTV, will take our games to those who are not able to be at local venues to watch their team. Having someone with Brett’s media talent and enthusiasm for local Rugby League in the Shire will ensure we deliver a great match of the round experience each week for viewers.”
