De La Salle came into this game off the back of a big win over Joeys 36-6 while Dragons defeated Gymea 10-0 to setup this Grand Final show-down. De La Salle coached by another Sharks legend Michael Ennis, were deserved minor premiers conceding only 26 points the entire season.
Engadine were gallant in defeat but in the end De La Salle's in impenetrable defense was the difference.
