The Metro Combined u18 Girls east Grand Final between Cronulla Caringbah and Arncliffe Scots was destined to be a close match following their epic Semi-Final just a few weeks prior where the sharks scored in the dying minutes to snatch a 14-12 victory to earn the first spot in this years grand final.
Similar to their semi-final clash the Grand Final would also be a tightly fought contest with both teams desperately wanting to claim the ultimate prize.
This time around it would be the girls from Arncliffe who would rise to the occasion to be crowned champions in a very close 8-4 victory over the Sharks girls.
