Last night the second week of the Cronulla JRL Finals Series got underway with the u9 Girls Tag League Preliminary Finals being played under lights at Shark Parks. Similar to last week, all the girls were excited to be playing on the big stage which is of course the home ground for Cronulla Sutherland Sharks NRL team.
There were lots of smiles and plenty of cheering from a healthy crowd as the girls played their hearts out for a spot in next weeks Grand Finals.
The results were as follows:
u9 Silver - GTL
Gymea 20 defeated Como 6
U9 Blues Tag Gold De La Salle(1) 34 defeated De La Salle(2) 12 Gymea 42 defeated Como 16
And so next week we will see Kurnell play Gymea in the u9 Silver GTL Grand Final and De La Salle (1) play Gymea in the u9 Gold GTL Grand Final. We wish all the girls the very best next week and hope they enjoyed getting the opportunity to play under lights at Shark Park this week.
