Continuing a Legacy: John Ryan Freight Services Joins Cronulla Junior Rugby League as Major Sponsor
Cronulla Junior Rugby League (CJRL) is proud to welcome John Ryan Freight Services (JRFS) as a major sponsor under a new three-year partnership.
This new agreement marks the continuation of a longstanding relationship between the Ryan family and grassroots rugby league in the Sutherland Shire. Sue Ryan, Managing Director of JRFS, has been a passionate advocate for junior rugby league, previously supporting the Sharks’ Junior Representative teams through John Ryan Freight Management. Her late husband, John Ryan, was a devoted Sharks supporter, and this sponsorship honours his legacy by investing in the next generation of local talent.
“Sue Ryan’s generosity is hugely appreciated,” said CJRL Chairman John Mannah. “We are thrilled that JRFS can continue to support rugby league in the Cronulla-Sutherland district and carry on the history of community involvement that the Ryan family has championed.”
Founded in 1992 by John and Sue Ryan, JRFS has grown into a national leader in freight management, known for its innovation, reliability, and commitment to client success. The company’s support has been instrumental in helping local junior teams thrive, with Sue's previous company JRFM serving as a major partner of the Sharks Academy and Junior Representative programs for the past six years.
