The Cronulla JRL will once again in 2022 be bringing you all the action from our junior Sharks teams as they don the Black, White and Blue to play in the various NSWRL representative competitions.
In addition to covering the Sharks Harold Mathews Cup (u17), SG Ball (u19) and Tarsha Gale Cup teams we will also be keeping you up to date with the Sharks u16 and u18 development squads who will play in trial games and train hard to cement their spots in one of the representative teams in 2023.
After almost a 6 month hiatus of no junior football due to the untimely finish to the 2021 junior rugby league season, it was great to finally see some junior football played again as our junior representative squads played their first trial games against Souths on Friday night at Mascot Oval.
The trial games are important for the teams to start working on their match fitness and teamwork while also allowing selectors to evaluate all the players to select the teams which ultimately represent the Sharks when the Junior Rep season officially kicks off on the 5th February 2022.
