‘Tag to Tackle Transition Program’ for U11-U13 year old girls postponed...
Due to the recently announced Sydney wide Stay at Home orders issued by NSW Health and the NSW Government all Cronulla JRL games and associated activities are hereby suspended until at least Friday, 9th July 2021.
We hope to still be able to hold this exciting event and hope to advise new dates in due course once the current lock-down ends and there is a return to community sport.

This is a wonderful opportunity to offer our League Tag girls and any other 11-13 year girls interested in learning to play tackle rugby league. This program will teach the girls game day skills and drills along with safe landing and correct tackling techniques in a controlled environment.
Cronulla Junior League has the most female participants nationally and with representative pathways to play for the Sharks there has never been a better time for girls to come and try Rugby League.

This program will be run by Huw Ellis and Alysha Janssen and will include game day skills and drills along with teaching tackling techniques.
This program aims to promote the safe code aspects of tackle Rugby League with the foresight to potentially run an U13 Girls, 9 a side, local competition in Cronulla in 2022.
We are targeting the U12 year old age group, however, will also take registrations from U11 and U13 girls who are interested. The girls do not need to be registered with a club to take part in this program. If there are any girls who would like to be involved and do not play for a club, they are more than welcome to come down and give it a go.
The program will run for 4 weeks on a Monday night, kicking off at 5.30pm through to 7pm.
