The Tarsha Gale Sharks failed to secure back-to back wins going down 26-8 against a more determined St. George Dragons outfit this morning at Mascot Oval.
Sitting in 6th place on the ladder the Tarsha Gale Sharks were hoping for a repeat of their form last week where they prevailed against the higher placed Wests Tigers.
The Tarsha Gale Sharks looks flat this week making unforced errors and generally being out enthused by the Dragons. The Sharks were afforded very few attacking opportunities in the first half and found themselves down 16-0 at half-time.
After the break the Sharks got a few opportunities and 10 minutes into the half it was Tayla Curtis who was able to finally get the Sharks on the scoreboard. The Sharks would score again with a great try to Chloe Boston out wide and end all the scoring the girls in the black, white and blue would see today.
While the Tarsha Gale Sharks fought gallantly, the Dragons would score 2 more times to finish-off a comprehensive 26-8 victory.
