In light of the latest warnings and health advice, it is with regret, that the Cronulla JRL inform everyone that we have decided to cancel the Tommy Bishop Shield in 2020.
The fact that many people from many districts including players and parents from across the state travel to attend this event, it would breach the current NSW Public Health Order to move forward with the event.
This event is a well-regarded and highly anticipated event each year in the junior rugby league calendar which attracts huge numbers of U8 players every year to the Sutherland Shire.
We hope that season 2021 looks much different to this year and look forward to welcoming teams from around the state next year for the 2021 Tommy Bishop Shield.
