On a very wet day in Sydney our u16 Sharks Academy squad took on the boys from the foot of the mountains (Penrith Panthers) in a friendly trial at Cronulla High School. The game allowed both teams to rotate a large number of players so that their entire squads were able to get a run on the day.
The second half of the game was played in very trying conditions as the heavens opened up and the ensuing torrential down pour created very slippery conditions proving to be a challenge for both sides.
Both our u16 and u18 development squads get rest for a few weeks now before playing South Sydney on Saturday 26th March @ Cronulla High School. Stay tuned for more details over the coming weeks.
