On Saturday the 4th of June, the Cronulla Junior Rugby League hosted both it's under 6s and 7s gala day. The u6's were hosted by the Bosco Bulldogs at Boystown Oval while the u7's played just a block away at the home of the Engadine Dragons.
It was a carnival like atmosphere at Boystown Oval with the BBQ cranking, games being played continuously across 5 fields and our major sponsors Aramex Australia and Sports Medicine Institute setting up marquees with give-aways and activities.
For many of the children it was their first time tackling as part of match with the u6 Yellow and u6 Orange teams having taken part in the newly introduced NSWRL tackle ready program. It was great to see so many smiles and the pure enjoyment shown by all the participants on the day.
