The Cronulla-Caringbah Sharks have produced an incredible second-half comeback to claim an enthralling 32-30 victory over Ryde-Eastwood Hawks in the Sydney Shield Grand Final at Bankwest Stadium on Sunday.
The Hawks had finished Minor Premiers and were looking to secure back-to-back premierships. Racing out to a 26 - 0 lead, it appeared as if exactly what was going to happen.
However the Sharks had a different ending in mind, finding another gear and began making what many would consider an impossible comeback. Someone once said "If you want something bad enough, you will need to do what it takes to get it" and that is exactly what the Sharks did staging the comeback of all comebacks to claim the 2020 Sydney Shield in a Grand-Stand finish.
