Before this game even kicked off, De La Salle were already busy finding room in their already overflowing trophy cabinet. Although Gymea finished Minor Premiers, the De La under 16 boys had planned a script that would see yet another trophy make it's way back to De La Salle HQ.
In a hard fought battle that would see the game come down to the wire it was a late try in the corner in front of the De La Salle faithful that saw the boys in blue prevail 18 - 12 to claim the title and leave club president Dave Nicholson with the dilemma of wear to house all of the silverware this season.
I guess it's a good problem to have right. Congratulations De La Salle on a great win and a great season across multiple divisions - Well done !!!
