It was the first Super Saturday of 2023 with all of our Sharks Development and Junior Rep sides playing in trials against Wests at the Sharks Academy fields in Cronulla. Despite early rain showers the weather cleared up with conditions hot and sticky for most of the day testing the fitness of all the players throughout the day.
The u16's enjoyed their first taste of representative football under guidance from two Sharks legends, Paul Gallen and Michael Ennis both of whom are involved in the 2023 Sharks Development programs.
While the development squads will not be playing as part of a structured competition this season they will continue to play trial games against other clubs to gain further experience and prepare themselves for next years representative teams or a call up to one of this years representative squads should the need arise.
