After a fantastic start to the NSWRL Junior Representative season, with three of four Sharks teams recording impressive wins, our youngsters will host the Eels at PointsBet Stadium on Saturday.
In the women's ranks, the under-17 Lisa Fiaola team showed heart but were made to rue their errors in a 20-18 loss to Wests Tigers last week. They will now face a Parramatta side keen to rebound after a heavy defeat to the Bulldogs.
The under-19 Tarsha Gale Sharks finished with a flurry to overpower the Tigers in round one, scoring a hard-fought 22-18 win at home. Their Eels counterparts were also beaten by Canterbury in their opening clash.
Confidence will be high for the men's under-17 Harold Matthews side after piling on six tries in a 32-6 victory against Balmain. However, a stern test looms in the shape of the Eels, who similarly trounced the Warriors 34-6.
And in the SG Ball competition, the under-19 Cronulla boys careered away for a remarkable 44-18 win over the Tigers after trailing 18-4. They are now pitted against a Parramatta outfit that accounted for the Warriors 32-20.
